Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Our K3/Merac online shop uses WorldPay as the payment gateway and uses the PCI-DSS standards as above. This website stores product data and your data on secure servers, which contains your:

Email Marketing Subscribers

1. Information Collection and Storage

When you subscribe to our email marketing list, we collect and store your name, email address, and any topic preferences you select. This information is securely stored on Wix and Mailchimp, which we use to manage our email communications.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your provided information to send you emails related to the topics you have selected. These emails may include updates, news, promotions, or other relevant content. You will only receive emails on the subjects you have opted into.

3. Double Opt-In

We operate a Double Opt-In system, which means that anyone new to our database must verify their email address before being fully subscribed to our mailing lists. This process is automatic - once you complete the subscription form, you will receive an email to confirm your subscription. We will not send any emails to contacts who have not completed the Double Opt-In process as their subscription has yet to be fully confirmed.

4. Unsubscribing from Emails

You may unsubscribe from our emails at any time by:

Clicking the “Unsubscribe” link found at the bottom of any marketing email you receive from us.
Contacting us directly at info@mnr.org.uk and requesting removal from our email list.

Working Members Data - hops.org.uk

Membership information is primarily contained within a secure database system using HOPS (further information here) which has a hierarchy to permissions with limited access to different levels of administration (Trust Council, Managers, Administrators/Coordinators, Roster Clerks, etc)

Information held for working members, in addition to above:

Name & Address
Contact details
Communication preferences
Membership type & expiry and related members
Emergency contacts
Date of birth
Gift aid status
Roster records (e.g. times, dates, locations, roles)
Competency records (e.g. exams, certificates)
Safety-critical medical information
Time register records (location/date/time)

This information is held whilst the working member is active and is archived once the person is confirmed as no longer a working member. Information is held for a variety of lengths for legal/insurance reasons.

Membership renewal payments on HOPS are processed by HOPS (further information here).

This information is kept on a secure database with the full database being limited access to the Membership Secretary & Assistant and limited information provided to the Volunteer Coordinator, Trust Council, Operations Management and Business Management.
