Come along to the Mid-Norfolk Railway for a prehistoric adventure and get up close to a variety of dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes. Help the Dino Squad and their Rangers rescue the stolen raptor eggs and reunite Rory with their babies!

Your journey begins at Dereham Station where you will be greeted by members of the Dino Squad and their Rangers. Look out for the WANTED posters which will show you who to look out for during your visit. Once you embark on your steam* hauled train ride you will have the opportunity to meet some baby dinosaurs onboard at your table**, before pulling into Thuxton Station - keep your eyes peeled for the egg stealing culpritt! More baby dinosaurs will keep you entertained on the journey back to Dereham, where you will then be able to play with Rory the Raptor and enjoy some dinosaur themed carnival games and entertainment. Why not have your face painted by Wild Ones Face Painting during your visit and practice your best dinosaur ROAR (additional cost applicable for this service).

Your ticket includes one round trip between Dereham and Thuxton (approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes***) at your pre-ordered time, as well as access to our station and associated entertainment. There will be dinosaur activities & carnival games, photo opportunities and displays, as well as a gift shop at Dereham Station with lots of dinosaur goodies to purchase. Our tea room will also be open providing refreshments and snacks for all ages, including special dinosaur-themed lunch boxes.

The Mid-Norfolk Railway also reserves the right to not serve alcohol to anyone it believes is below 18 years old, no refund will be made in this case. The Mid-Norfolk Railway will not tolerate any abuse or violence towards its staff members at any time.
