Spring Diesel Gala 2024
25th - 27th May 2024
The Mid-Norfolk Railway is pleased to announce that our for 2024 will consist of the railways home fleet (03063, 33202, 47580 & 47596) and guest mainline Rail Operations Group Class 37608 "Andromeda" (a change from 37800 which is no longer available to attend).

The MNR is planning on running intensive and different timetables across all three running days using both air and vacuum braked coaching stock. The weekend will also see our new resident Class 03 shunter, 03063, hauling its first passenger workings on the MNR. Furthermore, 03063 is to be named in memory of its former owner at Thuxton on the Saturday morning.
The MNR would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the home fleets private owners and Rail Operations Group for supplying their locomotives for the gala.

Tickets can be bought at either Dereham or Wymondham Abbey station, if you are boarding at either Yaxham, Thuxton or Kimberley Park tickets can be bought on the train.
