On selected days this summer, come and join us on board one of our lovingly restored historic carriages, pulled by one of our Historic Steam or Diesel locomotives through the wonderful Heart of Norfolk countryside, for a real nostalgic treat.

You will be able to relax and take in the beautiful countryside and quaint little Countryside stations, whilst our smartly attired staff serve you delicious homemade scones whilst sipping on a cup of tea or coffee.

Your pre-booked ticket includes all day travel on any of our trains and a reserved seat aboard our Heart of Norfolk Cream Tea train for a return journey from Dereham to Wymondham Abbey and back.

All of our Heart of Norfolk Special trains depart Dereham at 15:30 and will arrive back at approximately 17:10.

Every effort will be made to run all these days as Steam Hauled, but on occasions it may be necessary to replace with one of our Historic Diesel Locomotives.

**Please note that the Mid-Norfolk Railway do operate a Challenge 25 policy and reserves the right to ask for Photo Identification/proof of date of birth. The Mid-Norfolk Railway also reserves the right to not serve alcohol to anyone it believes is below 18 years old, no refund will be made in this case. The Mid-Norfolk Railway will not tolerate any abuse or violence towards its staff members at any time. 

The Mid-Norfolk Railway are unable to offer any cancellations, refunds or reschedules to any orders, therefore please ensure you can attend the date/time you select before you make payment and book. By making a booking you agree that you shall not take on board the carriage any alcoholic drinks and that all alcoholic drinks must be bought within the MNR premises.
