BSC 1

Built by Vulcan Foundry as a English Electric Stephenson 0-6-0 diesel-hydraulic shunter in 1965. Upon completion it was allocated to Corby Steel works. Unfortunately, not much more is known about the life of BSC 1 until it arrived at The Mid-Norfolk Railway in January 2017. Since its arrival at the MNR it has only worked engineering trains due to it not being fitted with train brakes, it also operated the first train into North Elmham yard since the closure of the yard in 1989.
