The perfect way to spend a summers evening eating Fish & Chips whilst being hauled by steam* engine, all while enjoying evening Mid-Norfolk countryside. 

 

Relax whilst our smartly attired staff serve you with fresh locally sourced Fish & Chips just before departure. A selection of drinks are able to be pre-ordered so they are sitting on your table waiting, allowing you to enjoy the journey without having to leave your seat.

A fully licensed bar is also available on the train, with a selection of alcoholic** and soft drinks available.

The price includes a reserved seat aboard our Breckland Fryer Fish & Chip steam* train for a return journey from Dereham to Wymondham Abbey and back.

The Breckland Fryer Special departs Dereham at 18:15 and arrive back at approximately 20:00

£29 per person, includes one return trip from Dereham to Wymondham on the Breckland Fryer Fish & Chip Special. A selection of drinks can be pre-ordered at the time of purchase which will be sitting on your table ready for you on the night of travel.

**Please note that the Mid-Norfolk Railway do operate a Challenge 25 policy and reserves the right to ask for Photo Identification/proof of date of birth. The Mid-Norfolk Railway also reserves the right to not serve alcohol to anyone it believes is below 18 years old, no refund will be made in this case. The Mid-Norfolk Railway will not tolerate any abuse or violence towards its staff members at any time. 

The Mid-Norfolk Railway are unable to offer any cancellations, refunds or reschedules to any orders, therefore please ensure you can attend the date/time you select before you make payment and book. By making a booking you agree that you shall not take on board the carriage any alcoholic drinks which have not been purchased at the railway. All alcoholic drinks must be bought within the MNR premises.
