MID-NORFOLK RAILWAY BEER FESTIVAL 2025

The Mid-Norfolk Railways fundraising beer festival has been a must attend event since 2012, and we are pleased to announce it will be returning for the August Bank Holiday weekend in 2025 bigger and better than ever. We are bringing in a huge selection of real ales and ciders from around the country, as well as select local breweries.

!!!!Live Music!!!!
 

FRIDAY - we will have live music from Blue Harlequin. A four piece band playing Rock Covers and their own track throughout the evening. 7.30pm - 10.30pm. 

​

SATURDAY - we will have live music from Forged. A four piece touring band playing Classic Rock, Hendrix and heavy-duty Blues. The band will be playing from 7.30pm to 10.30pm so come down and enjoy some classic rock and a pint or two!

BARS & TRAIN SERVICES
 

Our 1980s Leyland Pacer will be running on Friday 22nd from 2pm through to just before Midnight between Dereham and Wymondham Abbey Halt. 

​​

On Saturday 23rd through to Monday 25th, we will be running a mixture of loco-hauled trains and Pacer services, ending around midnight on Sat/Sun and 6pm Bank Holiday Monday.

To compliment the fabulous selection of drinks offered at Dereham Station, there will also be a small bar at Thuxton Station offering a small selection of beers and cider. Subject to volunteer availabilty, there may be an on board bar on the trains

Our 2025 Beer Festival drinks list  will be available nearer the time, but for now you can view what was the 2024 list by clicking here. 

Please note that all beers, ciders etc are subject to availability. 

How it works:
Like many other similar events, drink sales will be by token. All bars will accept tokens, including on train bars.

You can purchase a set of Beer Tokens. This is the cheapest way to buy your drinks over the weekend. Present your tokens and cup at any bar to exchange Beer or Cider.

Train Tickets :
Train tickets and Starter Packs for the Beer Festival will be available on the day. Normal Adult Fares apply to all rail travel, with Kids Go Free Promotion available on the day.

All our bars operate a Challenge 25 policy. We may ask you for ID at anytime and we reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcohol.

The MNR will not tolerate abuse of any kind to our staff or volunteers.
