BACK FOR 2025!

 

Following on from the standout success of 2024, Alice on the Wondertrain is back for 2025!

 

Created by Twisted Reality Productions - the theatrical team behind MNR's The Polar Express Train Ride, and hosted here at The Mid-Norfolk Railway, ​Alice on the Wondertrain is an immersive theatrical live train experience, engaging audiences in a fantastical story to meet the array of marvellous characters from Alice in Wonderland as never before.

Your journey will last approximately 1 hour from boarding and while travelling on the Wondertrain, you will join Alice on a journey of self-discovery in this unique adaptation. Our Tea Room will be offering lots of savoury snacks and sweet treats with an Alice theme for you to enjoy during your visit.

Featuring comedy, original music, dance, multi-sensory elements and full audience interaction, join us for an extraordinary trip suitable for all ages in Easter 2025 on the Mid-Norfolk Railway.

Arrival times:  9.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm & 3.30pm

£19.95 per person/all ages, Under 2s travel for free on an Adult's lap

PLEASE NOTE - unfortunately due to the type of carriages being used for this event, we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs onboard.

​

Our carriages are made up of tables for 4 so please be aware that you may be sharing a table with passengers from another booking.

​

Parking at Dereham Station is available on a first come first served basis and cannot be pre-booked.

Terms & Conditions

​

- Please note that whilst every effort is made to the advertised traction & services we do reserve the right to amend, alter or cancel service, The Mid-Norfolk Railway does not accept any responsibility for any inconvenience caused.

- Tickets are non refundable but are transferable to other people.

- Please note you will be seated in an area with your group, however due to the train carriage seating you may also be seated with or opposite other passengers. We advise to ensure you are seated in your group to book all of the tickets at the same time - we will then use the booking reference number to ensure you are seated in your group. Seat numbers will be given at the Box Office upon arrival.

- Twisted Reality Productions make work that is inclusive of SEND audiences. If you have any specific needs please let us know by emailing alice@mnr.org.uk.

- There are no designated wheelchair spaces available on the train however if appropriate we may assist passengers in wheelchairs onto the train and to their seat.
